Initial Case Materials Review$1,200.00 (flat fee)
Hourly Fee$395.00/hour
Deposition (payable in advance)$1,500.00 (flat fee)
Trial (actual court/proceeding appearance)$5,000.00/day
Trial (any additional day scheduled out of office - travel, etc.)$1,500.00/day
Trial (weekend travel days)$500.00/day
Patient Evaluation (IME, with x-rays and report)$750.00 (flat fee)

ADDITIONAL SPECIFICS:

  1. Initial Telephone Consultation: There is no fee for an initial "get acquainted" telephone conversation and succinct review of case facts. No opinion will be rendered prior to full case materials review.

  2. Initial Case Materials Review includes review of all medical records, x-rays, imaging studies, and other medical records; telephone consultation regarding findings, impressions, and opinions; and preparation of written report (only upon request). Initial Case Materials Review will include review of one Plaintiff and one Defendant deposition, IF submitted with initial medial records, otherwise hourly fee will apply. Payment of $1,200.00 must accompany Initial Case Materials.

  3. Expenses: All expenses incurred will be in addition to the fees listed above. Expenses include air fare (including any cancellation/schedule change charges), ground transportation or car rental, hotel accommodations, meals, parking, or any special services required to perform requested duties.

  4. Deposits: Payment for Depositions and Trials is required 1 week in advance of event.

  5. Cancellation Fee: A Cancellation Fee of 50% will apply to any cancellation where I am scheduled out of the office and notice of cancellation is not received within 72 hours of scheduled event (Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday excluded when calculating the 72 hrs).

  6. Legal Disclaimer: In this particular case, I am being retained as a medical expert to work in conjunction with an attorney exclusively in that capacity. I will not render any legally based opinions or thoughts in this case. All of my opinions should be accepted as being solely in the realm of a medical expert and are not to be construed in any legal manner whatsoever.
